Description
Will Code For Beer 2024 (Spring edition) is a social event hosted by Visma at offices spread around the globe. Bring your colleagues to collaborate in solving entertaining programming problems in return for delicious beer!
Registration: first, every single team member should be registered in Kattis platform. Then team can be created in the contest. More info - contact edgaras.legus@visma.com
Time: β²οΈβ competition can be started at any time locally at your office. It will be open at 12:00 UTC and will be closed at 23:00 UTC. Local facilitator will mark 5 hour mark.
Location: π’π’ any Visma office you are working in.
Rules: ποΈπ whenever started, you have 5 hours to finish all the challenges. The team who solved most challenges - wins. If amount of solved tasks is the same - position is decided by the least time needed. Teams can be of a maximum of 4 people. For detailed rules explanation take a look at Rules tab.
Programming languages: π» 20 different programming languages are accepted, including Java, Python, JavaScript, and various C dialects. See the Kattis language overview for the full list.
Beer ordering: π»πΊ local facilitators decide on the beer order locally for their offices. As well it is open to you to decide how you use it. Some offices can use beer as per solved puzzle, some can just have the beer for drinks and have prizes for best local teams.
Prizes: ππ local facilitators decide on the prizes by themselves. Most important is to get fun!
