There will be only two time windows to do the contest (there may be some exceptions if you have talked previously to @plourde27):

• Saturday, January 6 from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM PST.
• Sunday, January 7 from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM PST.

To participate in the contest click on Start contest timer at the beginning of the time window you want to participate in. Only submissions made during the two time windows will be taken into account, so be sure to check in exactly at the start of the time window so you have the full 5 hours!

Access to the internet, aside from the contest website, is strictly forbidden during the contest. However, you can use template codes and reference documents downloaded before the contest e.g. the kactl cheat sheet that you would bring to the in person contest. Communication with other participants that haven't finished the contest yet about the problems is also strictly forbidden until Friday, January 17 at 10:00 PM. At that time the final standings will be published.
