Make sure that your account is not set to anonymous. Otherwise, your score will not contribute to the combined score of your team
The points on the leaderboard are not the final scores. The points are awarded by who finishes the questions the fastest. See the point system below for more details.
In the case of ties, the last problem that added points to the score will be checked and we will compare the time of submission. Whoever submitted the question first will be deemed the winner of the tie.
Point System:
The points will be awarded based on the question’s difficulty and the timeliness of solving the problem correctly. I.E. Those that finish the problem first will be awarded the maximum amount of points and those that finish the question sequentially will be awarded points based on their order of submission.
Easy Questions: 20 points max (# of Easy Questions: 5) 1st place: 20 points, 2nd place: 18 points, 3rd place: 16 points, else: 15 points
Medium Questions: 40 points max (# of Medium Questions: 7) 1st place: 40 points, 2nd place: 36 points, 3rd place: 32 points, else: 30 points
Hard Questions: 100 points max (# of Hard Questions: 4 ) 1st place: 100 points, 2nd place: 90 points, 3rd place: 80 points, else: 75 points
Penalty System: (per question) 1 wrong submissions- 10% reduction, 2 wrong submissions- 20% reduction, 3 wrong submissions- 30% reduction, 4 wrong submissions- 40% reduction, 5 or more wrong submissions- 50% reduction
